Hello bun fans! Ready for my first review?! Get excited y’all, because this week was a huge success according to Bauer!!! In order to think of the recipe to make this week, I started thinking about what his favorite food is. I don’t know about your buns, but my fluffer loves PARSLEY! So, I knew I wanted to start by adding some parsley as the main ingredient. I then threw in some of his other all natural favorites; I picked his favorite fruit and his favorite veggie (can’t release all ingredients because I want you guys to try mine!), blended it all up, and then also added some of his food pellets to make it into a biscuit type treat, and one other all natural ingredient I used in place of flour. I supplemented in place of flour because I do not think flour, even wheat flour, is good for bunnies digestive systems! The last ingredient I used in order to help the treat retain its shape, as well as to add a little flavor. After you combine all the ingredients, make sure to roll the dough out very thin (1/4 in thick) or it will not bake all the way through! I baked it for half an hour at an oven temperature of 325, checking periodically to make sure it does not get too brown! Then, I turned the oven off and let it dry out in the hot oven for another hour- making sure it does not hold moisture, and will not mold!! Below are pictures of the process and also a little video of him encountering the treat for the first time (Although, when I went to hand him the treat he grabbed part of it from me before I could start the camera! Drats!). I would say it was a huge success!!! What do you guys think about the idea? Do your buns love parsley too? Please message me if you’d like a sample for free (just you pay shipping!). Thanks so much for reading! Look for us next week; I already have some ideas forming!!
